Hollowblue

Hollowblue was founded in 2004 and has released three albums and several singles. They are currently on hold as they wait to release their fourth album.
They have received many excellent reviews, not only in Italy but also in the UK, France, USA, and Sweden, including 4 stars from Uncut and RollingStone.

In 2010, together with the English singer-songwriter Sukie Smith, they were the protagonists of the first 3D video filmed in Italy, which then won the Best Video award at the 3D Film Festival in Hollywood (competing with Michael Jackson, Pink, Santana, among others).
The video was then featured at many international festivals, including Sundance.

In 2010, they received an entire page of praise on David Bowie's website.

Over the years, they have participated in many radio shows, including several times on RAI1 and RAI3, and have received extended articles in all major national newspapers. They have also been featured on the MTV Brand New chart.

They have developed many collaborations over the years, among which stand out those with Anthony Reynolds of the group JACK, Sukie Smith aka Madam, Lara Martelli, the American writer Dan Fante (son of John) with whom they have an album in the works, and they have been on tour several times.

Their albums have been released by Suiteside Records, Midfinger/Warner, and aCupintheGarden (the band's own label, which has also released albums by other artists).

The current members of Hollowblue are Gianluca Maria Sorace, Giancarlo Russo, and Davide Malito Lenti. The previous lineup included Federico Moi and Marco Calderisi (among the founders of the group) and Enrico Filippi. Several string players have alternated throughout the years, including Chiara Cavalli, Ellie Young, Sarah Crespi, and Sarah Mayer.
